Join us for this 1-day course, based at SSERC HQ, to explore a range of practical techniques designed to support the delivery of environmental science courses by teachers with a specialism in geography.
This programme is intended to equip geography teaching staff with the skills to confidently deliver a range of practical experiments outside of a laboratory setting including environmental sampling, analysis of water, and a range of other practical experiments intended to support staff in delivering environmental science qualifications with confidence.
An excellent way of keeping up to date with developments in your subject area. There will be ample opportunities to build new working relationships with fellow geography teachers tasked with delivering this important category of qualification.
The course is aligned to the GTCS Standards for Full Registration and the National Model for Professional Learning.
This course is generously sponsored by Ocean Winds and as a result, delegates will receive a resource pack of equipment upon completion
